Make Cash Finding Profitable Niches Online

Finding profitable niches within the Internet marketing world is the first step you take when crafting your business online. A niche is really just a highly specific market, or group of people online, who have an interest, passion, want or need for a given product or service. Many times, you may need to try out several different niche markets before you can develop traction in locating one that can deliver profitability on a consistent basis.

Locating a specific, sought after niche is the most important goal and one where many new marketers may falter. Often, they don’t understand that their “niche” is actually far too broad to attract the type of traffic they want to their websites. One way to locate and narrow down your niche is to utilize what are sometimes called “long tail” keywords. Really, they are just keywords, or phrases, that have several words in them. Because of this, they are often more specific than a short, one or two word phrase. For example “digital cameras” would not be long tail keyword but “buy canon digital rebel xsi 12.2mp” just might be.

While locating the keywords and the audience for your marketing efforts is the key to making them work, another factor is just as important. That factor is understanding your audience, who they are, and when they are ready to purchase. Sometimes it may be referred to as the “customer purchase lifecycle”. All this really means is that the internet is filled with two kinds of people those looking for information, and those looking to purchase something or complete some other types of action. The first type of person we might call “informational” and the second type “transactional”.

However, a key point to keep in mind is that one usually becomes the other further along in the cycle. Most consumers will start off as informational, returning to the web upwards of 7 times before actually making a purchase or buying decision. Your goal as a marketer is to intercept this type of traffic later in the process, once they have already made decisions about what they wish to buy.

Finding the right tools to do this will go a long way toward finding profitable niches that you can convert to sales much easier. Some of the are locating the right “long tail” keywords that allow you to snag the coveted “transactional” consumer, as well as method to build quality sites quickly. Niche Market Research A To Z

Niche Market Research A To Z

If you want to set up a website and start promoting products within a particular market then it is absolutely crucial that you find a suitable niche first of all. This will necessitate thorough niche market research in order to make sure that you identify a suitable market that actually requires a solution to a common problem.

So how do you go about doing this? Well, you can start by considering several different markets that you may have an interest in setting up a website to promote. Consider what your passions are and where your interests lie. For example, if you have an interest in weight training then consider getting involved in some sort of muscle building niche. Remember, however, that extremely competitive niches ought to be avoided, especially if you are inexperienced.

Once you have figured out the type of market you would like to set up your website and business in, you can start doing some further research to identify what type of problems need to be solved. One good way of doing this is to browse around in related forums. Try to find some common threads where people are discussing a common problem that they have. Once you have done this you will then have a specific idea as to what problems you need to solve for this market.

You will need a character model. When trying to promote anything online you need to know exactly who your target audiences. As such, you need to try to develop a character model so that you know how your marketing should be directed.

Once you have your website setup and you know exactly what your target audience is looking for, and who they are, then you can start driving targeted traffic. Consider different traffic generation techniques such as article marketing and search engine optimization and develop a suitable strategy that will build significant traffic which will then, if all things go well, convert to sales.

Niche Profit Wisdom For New Entrepreneurs

Posted by Admin On September - 19 - 2011

Niche Profit Wisdom For New Entrepreneurs

Niche profit wisdom for new entrepreneurs suggests that marketers ask for help on how to accomplish tasks that marketing training websites suggest. Step by step advice is just as important as general knowledge when it comes to generating profits from niches.

Read on and learn tips how to determine most helping marketing advice.

Many marketing training websites read like a curriculum taught in school. School curriculum gives general knowledge such as who, where, why, what, and when should a task be performed. General knowledge is critical especially for novices. Other marketing training websites focus on step by step procedures showing how a marketing task should be performed. Readers sometimes forget to seek clarity on how a task should be performed.

Many novice internet marketers like to only accumulate facts and tools. These newly minted entrepreneurs eventually feel lost and disoriented when at every turn this is a new technique or idea to master. They complain when results promised them do not materialize. One reason for unfulfilled promises is that newbie marketers are not told or they do not seek an explicit step by step procedure that transforms niche profit knowledge into niche profit wisdom.

]]>

Knowledge is like a brick. Wisdom is like a house made of bricks. Knowledge is accumulated facts. Wisdom is accomplishments made using facts. Wisdom equals profits.

One example should suffice. There is some basic marketing knowledge this writer learned years ago. Radio and television broadcasters broadcast because they want to draw a crowd of people and sell something. This old broadcasting adage represents knowledge, a fact.

Examine the wisdom you implement in websites you maintain. Ask a general question like this: What person, place, thing, or activity makes people want to stop and stare? The mind automatically starts asking itself to list some possibilities. Cats? Ugly cats? Hairless ugly cats! Hairless ugly cats are known as sphinx cats or Peterbald cats. These breeds of cats are so ugly they are beautiful. Is a picture of a hairless cat appropriate for you to use?

What attraction does your website use? Most internet marketers wouldn’t benefit from adding a picture of a hairless cat to their website. The point is that we cannot just learn knowledge. We must convert knowledge into wisdom. Wisdom equals profits.

Niche profit wisdom for new entrepreneurs suggests that marketers remember to ask how to implement advice they receive from marketing gurus. Learning knowledge is important. Asking how to implement knowledge is critical to making a profit. This article lists tips on how to discern between knowledge and wisdom when it comes to marketing recommendations.

The best way to get started online is by drawing from a proven online business model. That way you can absorb successful knowledge and use it as a base for your new found wisdom.

Internet ‘street Smarts’ Traffic Secret – Audience Versus Target Market

Before you jump in and build a website, start by developing a marketing plan that targets an audience rather than just a market.

Let’s say your plan is to sell to young mothers, so your AUDIENCE is ‘young moms’, but within this audience are many small NICHE target markets.

* NOTE: Niche marketing means marketing to a highly targeted market sector versus marketing to a large general audience.

Look at some of the many niche markets for ‘young moms’:

* Young moms that are overweight – are a target market for diet products.

* Young moms that are divorced – are a target market for dating sites.

* Young moms that want a divorce – are a target market for divorce attorneys.

* Young moms that have children with learning disorders – are a target market for special training sites.

* Young moms that worry about what their kid’s eat – are a target market for a cookbook site.

* Young moms that worry about a college education for their kid’s – are a target market for an investment advice site.

* Young moms with a growing family – are a target market for a mortgage information site.

* Young moms with a growing family – are a target market for a home improvement site.

* Young moms with a growing family – are a target market for a real estate site.

* Young moms with a growing family – are a target market for life insurance.

If you take the approach of concentrating on an AUDIENCE, then you can target the many small NICHE markets that exist within your target audience.

Imagine, in this example for ‘young moms’, if you have a series of websites each targeted at one of the niche market examples mentioned above. As your email list grows, for each site, you can start to use your email marketing campaigns to cross promote all of your websites because your have a common AUDIENCE.

Example: If one of the ‘young moms’, that joins your list for say a home improvement site, just happens to want to lose some weight then, you already have a potential customer because you also have a weight loss or diet site.

This works because domain names and hosting are downright cheap.

You can easily setup multiple sites because domain names and hosting are very inexpensive. The cost of owning one website – called a domain name – is less than .

To put that domain name on the Internet requires a hosting company. This is a company that will rent you space on a server [a special type of computer] where you store the files that make up your website. Hosting companies have direct connections to the Internet. When people type your website name into their web browser they are sent to your hosting company where your websites files are located.

Another Internet ‘Street Smarts’ lesson: Create a family of sites.

If you do your homework, you will find hosting companies that will let you host a whole bunch of websites for one low monthly price. That’s right, you do not have to pay a separate hosting fee for each site you own if you use the right hosting company.

Since purchasing a website name and hosting a website is very inexpensive make sure and design your marketing plan to take advantage of these benefits. Rather than build just one site, plan on building a family of sites all targeted at the same audience, but with each of your individual websites targeted at a small special niche within your target audience.

Put up one simple niche site a month and you’ll have 12 separate moneymakers by the end of the year.

Here’s another Internet “Street Smarts” lesson: Everyday thousands of people search the Internet looking for this one thing. Do you know what this one thing is? Niche Marketing Examples – How to Learn From Them

Niche Marketing Examples – How to Learn From Them

The best way to learn niche marketing is by incorporating examples along with theories and advice. Too bad most of the blogs and articles offering niche marketing tutorials don’t do that. But no worries for you, because you just happened to land at the right place.

Many new as well as intermediate marketers get some things wrong about niche marketing. Let me elaborate a thing or two about niche marketing before you try your hands on some examples,

1. Niche Sites Are Content Based: This is especially true if you don’t have an army of affiliates for your own products, or are promoting someone else’s product. You catch the visitors by providing content, which the search engines index and rank you for. These people looking for content are at chances of being your future customers.

2. Niche Sites Should Capture Emails:  Sale mostly doesn’t happen the first time the visitor sees your offer, especially if he doesn’t know you. Thus, you should capture their email addresses using double-optin autoresponders. This allows you to email them not only good content, but even offers for affiliate products. It allows you to keep in touch with them long after they’ve left your website.

3. Niche Sites Use AdSense, But Not On All Pages: On pages where you need to sign up your visitor to your opt-in list, you don’t want them to be distracted by Adsense ads. But if you add new content to your website specifically for your subscribers, then you can put AdSense on them. Since they’re already on your list, you don’t care if they get attracted to any AdSense ads. This is to your benefit.

4. Niche Sites Normally Earn In 3 or Low 4 Digits: Niche websites normally earn around a couple of hundreds of dollars per month, if done correctly. Instead of trying to maximize this earning (which isn’t easy, since niche markets are not big), you can jump on to create your next niche website. The best way to earn a living online is having an army of niche websites. Even if one fails, you have the rest to back you up.

To see live examples of niche websites, visit the DMOZ directory. You’ll find a lot of categories scattered around. Click on the one that interests you. You’ll find that you again see a lot of subcategories. Keep clicking, and you’ll keep going deeper in the categories. These are your niches, and any site listed in them are your niche websites.

Now comes your best part. You can get free access to several videos demonstrating methods to create 5 to 10 pages websites making 0 to 00 per month on autopilot, as well as MoneyWord Matrix method that lets you tap into unlimited search engine traffic, all with real example niche sites that rake in money. Niche Market Examples

Article by Paul Barrs

By Paul Barrs

Recently I was asked how to find new ideas to market online. You know the types that people are often after… the kinds that seem to magically have gold hidden in the rims of their breakfast bowls… the ones that have attached to them the single word -

And to today’s online marketer they are almost an aphrodisiac!

Niche. Niche.

I feel like one of the brave Knights of Camelot holding back the tide of woe and wonder from that most powerful word… Niche!

Though for many, sadly, that are more like “Brave Sir Robin… who bravely ran away, away.” (Any Python fans out there?)

However, I am neither one who runs away nor punts headlong like a bull. Being able to find a good niche market is akin to being able to find and do anything in business. You just do it. If you’re having difficulty with this, perhaps you need a little inspiration, nothing more.

Personally, I find Wikipedia a great tool… (for inspiration that is).

When ever I’m looking for a new niche to do something with, I pop right on to their main page and look though the features and feature articles for ideas…

i.e. Today we have…

* Stuff to do with some TV program I’ve never heard of. Wouldn’t touch it.* But in the news section there is stuff On Ice Hockey. (Dig deep)* I can also see ideas for Rhinoceros’s and Bears (any collectors out there?)

Then of course there’s their “Featured Articles” area. Take a look at the topics covered…

Art and architecture * Awards, decorations and vexillology * Biology * Business, economics and finance * Chemistry and mineralogy * Culture and society * Education * Engineering and technology * Food and drink * Geography and places * Geology and geophysics * Health and medicine * History * Language and linguistics * Law * Literature and theatre * Mathematics * Media * Meteorology * Military and military history * Music * Philosophy and psychology * Physics and astronomy * Politics and government * Religion, mysticism and mythology * Royalty, nobility and heraldry * Sports and recreation * Video gaming * Transport

(Remember, DIG DEEP)

Want more ideas? Go to your local news agency and buy a few magazines that you’ve never purchased before.

If you say that you can’t “find a niche” then you’re not looking for a niche. You’re looking for a pot ‘o gold.

Don’t.

Look for something that people are looking for also – then market to them.

Just remember to DIG DEEP… and yes, you’ll have to do some work also.

- Paul Barrs

PS. Remember also that there are dozens and dozens of other places that you can start at as well; Amazon.com, your local bookshop, the bazaar or marketplace. Life offers an unlimited supply of opportunities.

Niche Marketing Examples You Can Use

Niche Marketing Examples You Can Use

Internet marketing is always easier when you focus your efforts on something specific rather than struggling to cover many topics.  This is why niche marketing is becoming so popular among affiliate marketers.  The concept is simple- instead of trying to target a broad topic or market, you instead focus on one part of that market.

It is difficult to rank well if your website is unorganized and has pages about all kinds of topics.  It is best to create smaller sites that are tightly focused on one niche.  If you focus on a specific niche, there will be less competition meaning it will be easier to rank well and make money.  I will explain it a little more and then give you some niche marketing examples that you can use.

Let’s use snowboarding as an example (I’ve never been snowboarding, but know a little about it).  If you make a website all about everything to do with snowboarding, then it may be difficult to rank well and make money.  After all, there are a lot of things to write about snowboarding.  Instead of trying to make a huge site that covers everything to do with the topic, why not just focus on one specific aspect of snowboarding.

There are many niches just within the snowboarding market.  You could focus on famous snowboarders or competitions or you could have a site dedicated to snowboarding tricks or the best locations for snowboarding.  And even that can be focused even more, such as the best snowboarding places in California or the USA or Canada.  Or you could make a site about snowboarding equipment, or even a niche within the snowboarding equipment market (such as snowboards, boots, bindings, other gear).

But just for practice I will come up with a short list of niche marketing examples, and yes you can feel free to take these ideas and use them for yourself.

Within the music market you could focus on smaller niches such as…electric bass guitars, digital sheet music, online piano lessons, luthiery.

Within the weight loss niche you could narrow it down to niches such as…natural weight loss remedies, diet pills, exercise equipment, yoga techniques.

For the health market there are many ideas such as how to cure hemorrhoids, panic attack symptoms, natural cures for X disease or symptom.

There are thousands of niches out there, so keep your eyes peeled.  You can use websites like Dmoz, Amazon, ebay, or other places to just browse the different categories and get ideas for some niches

I hope some of these niche marketing examples were helpful, but I’m sure you can come up with many more ideas in just a few minutes.  Think of your own interests and then narrow them down.

You can visit my website for more examples and tips on how you can easily make your own niche marketing campaigns to get easy traffic and money.  Good luck!
