When it comes to dating, some women get so caught up in the idea that they need to have a perfect body in order to attract a “good guy,” that they can become almost obsessive about it or end up feeling like they have no chance because they cannot attain that ideal image that they think they need to have. Anytime you turn on the television or you flip through a magazine, it becomes clear that there is an image being sold to women that they have to get a certain look in order to be considered attractive. Do you need to have a perfect body to attract men?

The answer is pretty simple: No, you do not. There are men out there that do want to attract a woman who is representative of that ideal, but that does not mean that all men are after that. It also does not mean that just because you do not look that way that you cannot attract a good guy. Luckily, men are pretty varied in their own personal preferences, so that all women really do have a chance of getting a good guy no matter what their body type may be.

Of course, I still would suggest that it is a good idea to get as healthy as possible, but not necessarily for the reason of attracting a man. More for the reason of just having good health and the inevitable self esteem boost that will come along with it.

As a woman, one of the things that makes dating a little easier than it does for a man in some ways, is the fact that there are so many varied ideas on what is attractive. Some guys prefer women with a little bit of curves. Some prefer those with a LOT of curves. And some just don’t care so much as long as you have all of the female body parts, lol.

So, to emphasize, you do not need to have a perfect body to attract the right guy. What you DO need to have is a healthy slice of self esteem, an attitude that is attractive and apparent, and the ability to learn what really attracts and keeps a man.
