St. Louis Man Who Defended His Home Against Protesters Tells His Side To Tucker Carlson [VIDEO]

On Fox’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Tuesday night, St. Louis homeowner Mark McCloskey made his first national TV appearance since he and his wife were captured on video standing in front of their property ready to defend the home with firearms against a mob of protesters in their front yard.

McCloskey said he believed his life and property were being threatened, which led to the couple brandishing their firearms.

He and his wife did nothing wrong.  The Left will try to hide behind a baseless accusation of saying the protesters didn’t harm the McCloskey’s, but they did, actually.  They put them in fear of being harmed, and that’s the definition of assault, to put someone in fear of being harmed.  Assault and Battery is when someone physically hits someone.

The couple did what all of us have been taught to do.  They defended themselves from what they believed was going to be an attack on them and their property.  There is no one in the country who isn’t aware that Democrat blue city mayors all over the country are allowing riots to ensue, where savages are attacking monuments and statues, monikers, and pretty much anything that disagrees with their take on history, and that includes white people with money they instantly label as racists.

“When I saw that mob coming through the gate with their rage and their anger, I thought that we would be overrun in a second,” Mark said. “By the time I was out there with my rifle, the people were 20 or 30 feet from my front wall. I’ve got a low wall that separates my house from my front yard.  And so, I was literally afraid that within seconds they would surmount the wall, and come into the house, kill us, burn the house down and everything that I had worked for and struggled for the last 32 years.”

“I saw it all going up in flames, and my life destroyed in an instant,” he added. “And I did what I thought I had to do to protect my hearth, my home and my family.”

Now, the radical Circuit Attorney for the City of St. Louis, Kimberly Gardner, who has financial backing from George Soros, is now investigating Mark and Patricia McCloskey for having the audacity to defend themselves when they saw people breaking and entering the private property.  This, from a woman who gave a statement that she supported the rioters over the civil society.

McCloskey denied race was a motivating factor for the couple’s actions.  It’s pretty disgusting that they would even be asked such a question.  People can’t expect others in the civil society to have to adhere to some form of woke checklist before they are allowed to defend themselves.  In fact, there were white protesters among the mob, who are clearly seen in the video.

“To call us racist is ridiculous,” he added. “It had nothing to do with race. I wasn’t worried what the race was of the mob that came through my gate. I was worried I was going to be killed. I didn’t care what race they were.”

“I am alarmed at the events that occurred over the weekend, where peaceful protesters were met by guns and a violent assault,” Gardner said. “We must protect the right to peacefully protest, and any attempt to chill it through intimidation or threat of deadly force will not be tolerated.”

The minute they went through the gates to private property they were no longer peaceful protesters.  They committed breaking an entering.

Folks, how Gardner handles this investigation will have national impact.  If this loony leftist prosecutor files charges against the McCloskeys, it will send a message to all the other lawless blue state officials that people of the civil society no longer have the right to defend themselves or their property from the mob.  When that happens, what’s known as the “Bubba Effect” will go into full force, where citizens who no longer have confidence that law enforcement and their elected representatives will protect them and their property, start to protect themselves by all means available.

It may start to get really ugly, folks.
